Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan faces a lawsuit filed on behalf of mental health and substance abuse treatment providers that accused the insurer of underpaying claims. New York City-based law firm Napoli Shkolnik filed the lawsuit on behalf of four substance abuse treatment centers in the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan. The lawsuit argues BCBS of Michigan failed to properly pay for substance abuse treatment and other care for behavioral health disorders. The plaintiffs claimed BCBS of Michigan underpaid claims for 4,000 patients, and seeks more than $40 million. 下载
