Pharmacies have no justification for their request that the Sixth Circuit review a judge’s ruling allowing two Ohio counties’ opioid claims to go forward, other than that they disagree with the ruling, the counties said Tuesday.<\/p>\n

“The chain pharmacies are rehashing a losing, and almost laughable argument,”\u00a0Hunter J. Shkolnik of Napoli Shkolnik PLLC, one of the top plaintiffs attorneys in the litigation, told Law360 on Tuesday.\u00a0“They claim a chain pharmacy has no duty under the law to stop the illegal flow of opioids into our communities. This is just wrong and Judge Polster was right.”<\/p>\n
