Since then, officials have been working with the base and the Ohio EPA to monitor the levels in the water.<\/p>\n<p>Napoli Shkolnik PLLC, a New York law firm with experience with both the chemicals and manufacturers, has been hired to lead the lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We settled earlier this year for $850 million with the 3M company,\u201d said <a href=\"\/fr\/napoli-attorney\/paul-napoli\/\">avocat Paul Napoli<\/a> \u201cIt&#8217;s not uncommon for the cost associated with remediating PFAS to be in the range of ten to twenty million dollars a well.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Napoli said there are 180 wells in Dayton, so the damages could be \u201csignificant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/4756\/WKEF\/Web\/news\/local_6\" style=\"box-sizing: border-box; vertical-align: bottom; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Contenu publicitaire tiers\" name=\"google_ads_iframe_\/4756\/WKEF\/Web\/news\/local_6\" width=\"5\" height=\"5\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La ville de Dayton a annonc\u00e9 mercredi qu&#039;elle avait intent\u00e9 une action en justice contre des entreprises en rapport avec des produits chimiques trouv\u00e9s dans l&#039;approvisionnement en eau de la ville.
