There\u2019s also mounting evidence that alleges that Sanofi and Boehringer Ingelheim\u2014the Big Pharma manufacturers of Zantac\u2014hid Zantac\u2019s link to cancer from millions of consumers. The deception allegations came as the pharmaceutical companies made unprecedented profits from Zantac. It was the first drug to generate <\/span>$1 billion in sales<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

In current <\/span>lawsuits against Zantac<\/span><\/a>, plaintiffs allege that the manufacturers placed a dangerous product on the market and failed to warn consumers of the serious side effects and risks.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2020, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requested all companies withdraw any ranitidine products after finding \u201cunacceptable amounts\u201d of NDMA in ranitidine. More than a dozen companies have now recalled the drug.<\/span><\/p>\n
