The Riverside County Coroner\u2019s Office confirmed 13\u00a0passengers\u2019 lives have been taken after a Los Angeles\u00a0tour bus returning from a trip to a Red Earth Casino in Thermal violently collided with a big rig on the westbound I-10 near Palm Springs before sunrise this Sunday Morning. At least 30\u00a0additional injured bus passengers\u00a0have been taken to Palm Springs area hospitals for triage and emergency medical treatment.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe tour bus had smashed into the rear of the big rig, and the front of the bus was enveloped by the big rig’s trailer.\u00a0Dozens of firefighters swarmed the scene, struggling to reach victims. Preliminary investigation suggests the driver was one of the company’s owners. USA Holiday\u00a0carries passengers from Greater Los Angeles to Southern California casinos, and the company’s\u00a0Instagram page says it has been doing so for 25 years.\u00a0USA Holiday has recently made trips to Tortoise Rock Casino, Red Earth Casino and Las\u00a0Vegas, but the company hasn’t promoted any trips on Facebook or Instagram since mid-September. http:\/\/www.desertsun.com\/story\/news\/2016\/10\/23\/least-three-dead-after-interstate-10-bus-crash\/92641620\/<\/a><\/p>\n The National Transportation Safety Board said it will investigate the fatal crash and is sending an investigative team to the crash site.
